PFLAG Westminster - Carroll County, Maryland
Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is a national non-profit organization with over 200,000 members and supporters and over 500 affiliates in the United States. This vast grassroots network is cultivated, resourced and serviced by the PFLAG National Office, located in Washington, D.C., the national Board of Directors and 13 Regional Directors. PFLAG has an excellent national website where you can find out more about the national organization, and an active and growing local chapter right here in Westminster – Carroll County Maryland which has a great website with lots of local events and topics of interest.
PFLAG provides an excellent support group for parents, as well as support for the LGBTQ communities and education and advocacy opportunities. It’s really an unbelievably great group – be sure not to miss their meetings or as they say, you won’t know what you’re missing!
